Stroll around on the farm and mingle with the dogs, horses, cattle, chickens or pigs – all free range.
Let the children help with herding the cattle, feeding the pigs or collecting the eggs for the day.
Go for a short (1 – 2 km) hike along the river and stream in the shades of the poplar trees.
Or
Go for a longer hike (5 to 8km) along the kloof, through the Pecan orchards and over the mountain.
Bring your own horse or rent one of our well-tempered horses and go for a guided ride of between 1 to 5 hours through the kloof and over the mountains.
Don’t worry if you are not an experienced rider! Young children and in–experienced riders can be eased into and made comfortable with the horses in a safe way on a lead reign (or loose) inside the ring.
We have horses for all types of riders. If you have not ridden for quite a while, we will have a horse for you which has also not been ridden for a while.
Bring your own bicycles, and go for a ride in the kloof.
Bring your fishing gear and try your luck on fishing in the dam.
Bring all your ingredients for a braai with your family between the trees on the hills
